Outer-diameter measurements and bond inspection for sheath assemblies.
The purpose of this equipment is to complete OD measurements and bond inspections on the Cruiser Sheath polymer shaft following the fold, heat set, tip bond, and sleeve bond steps to verify the fold profile. Incomplete folding of the sheath shaft will result in a shaft OD exceeding specification. Incomplete or incorrect bonding will also lead to a failure in the bond inspection.
