Glue Bonding Systems
Plasma treatment, controlled adhesive dispensing, curing and vision inspection.
Voyager Hub to Extension Glue Bond Equipment is required to bond the extension line into the hub ID as part of the Sheath Assembly on Voyager. The equipment is required to plasma treat the hub port. The equipment is required to dispense adhesive into the allocated glue port of the hub port in a controlled manner to ensure that there is sufficient adhesive to go around the circumference of the hub port. The machine then cures the dispensed adhesive through the hub port in a controlled manner ensuring a repeatable and reproducible bonding method is achieved. The machine will run an inspection to determine glue coverage via a flash off of UV light and vision sensor detection.
