PU/PVC Belt Conveyors

A continuous belt for components, packs and products that need support between processes.

PU/PVC Belt Conveyors — illustrative equipment concept

Continuous Support From One Process To The Next

PU/PVC belt conveyors provide a continuous carrying surface for components, pouches, packs and other products that need support along the line. They connect workstations and machines where small or irregular products may not travel reliably on rollers. CPS reviews your product, belt surface, conveyor dimensions and transfer points to develop a layout that suits the process. Belt material, guides, access and operating requirements are agreed for the application.

Useful To Know

When is a belt preferable to rollers?

A belt can support small, soft or irregular products that do not bridge roller spacing reliably. Product trials may be needed to confirm the best surface and transfer arrangement.

Can the conveyor run on an incline?

Incline suitability depends on the product, angle and belt surface. CPS can review the need for grip, flights or side guides as part of the design.

Belt Matched To The Product

Select the contact surface with product grip, marking, cleaning and the operating environment in mind.

A Layout That Fits

Review conveyor length, width, working height and access before settling the frame and drive position.

Transfers Considered Early

Check the smallest product, transfer gap, orientation and how the next machine receives the product.
